Exclusive to Mansion guests, each Spicer Moment is specially designed to enrich the guest experience and connect him or her with the very best of our surroundings.

Soar through the sky during a luxury helicopter tour of the Rhode Island coast, Fishers Island and Block Island, or mingle with the cast from the O’Neill Theater Center following a Broadway-bound performance. Sip Dom Pérignon from atop the Belvedere with its expansive views, or venture deep into the Mystic Maritime Museum’s impressive archives. Luxury Helicopter Tour

Experience the New England Coast by helicopter with Wings Air. See stunning aerial views of familiar landmarks up and down the coast. Tours depart from a crowd-free setting at Groton Airport and fly over the Rhode Island Coast, Fishers Island and Block Island. Listen to your favorite songs in-flight, and when you land on Block Island, a romantic picnic awaits.

Preview a Broadway Show

Enjoy a delicious catered picnic for two on the spectacular property of the O’Neill Theater Center, overlooking Montauk and the Long Island Sound. Enjoy a brand new play or musical, and raise a glass with the cast in the O’Neill pub after the show. All work performed at the O’Neill is brand new, and often transfers to New York, London or Chicago. Learn how the stars throw a punch on stage and make it look real. Taught by same instructor at the O’Neill’s National Theater Institute who trained Jennifer Garner before landing the lead in ALIAS on television, where she played a international spy to millions of viewers and launched her career.

Behind the Scenes at the Seaport - Maritime Collections

Professional staff lead you through the maritime collections in storage at the Collections Research Center. See the full variety of objects owned by the Museum and not currently on exhibit. These included scrimshaw, ship models, paintings, textiles, navigational instruments, and more. Learn about preservation and maintaining thousands of items in the curatorial storage facility.

Behind the Scenes at the Seaport - Historic Engines

Gain exclusive access to the Seaport Museum’s engine collection stored in the Watercraft Hall of the American Maritime Education and Research Center. Walk among the historic engines and engage in discussions about the collection. Over 300 engines are on display, including naphtha, steam, gas, diesel, and electric powered engines.

As one of the most important maritime collections in the world, the Mystic Seaport offers an exclusive behind
scenes tour of over 450 boats stored in their boat halls. Ranging from the smallest of rowing boats to a 40-foot WWII era lifeboat, this tour is a must for all boat enthusiasts.
